Tis the Season

My art instructor nabbed these holly leaves from his wife’s kitchen table display. Ha ha! Now he has to figure out how to return them in place so she doesn’t notice.

Love this season!

About mehrlich125

Since I was little I liked to visualize and create things. Painting with watercolors is what makes me happy now. That, and spending time gardening and reading. I love long walks, biking, and the beach. Cape Cod is where I spend a lot of my leisure time.

Thanks, Jana, much appreciated! There are a few stems that I love at this time of year. Holly is one, the other is the orange lanterns (which I buy at Whole Foods), and the third one is the orangy colored berries I find out in the woods. Happy Holidays!

  5. LOVE the extreme variation of values in those leaves! The berries set them off beautifully!
