Spring Flowers

ImageI knew that this bouquet of spring flowers was too gorgeous not to paint. They have been on my kitchen table, calling to me, for a few days. It was not until I read a post from a very talented fellow artist and blogger, Diane Eugster, that I was inspired to actually get out my brushes and paint.  You might want to check out Diane’s web site:

This is watercolor on Arches 140 cold press paper, 11 x 14. The pitcher, hand painted from Mexico, is from a local thrift shop.

About mehrlich125

Since I was little I liked to visualize and create things. Painting with watercolors is what makes me happy now. That, and spending time gardening and reading. I love long walks, biking, and the beach. Cape Cod is where I spend a lot of my leisure time.
