Autumn

I love to paint, but I miss drawing. Today I took out my Micron Pigma pens. Finding a subject wasn’t difficult. On my counter I spotted some Trader Joe’s pumpkins and gourds along with some rich-looking Bittersweet that my husband clipped on the side of the road this afternoon. On Cape Cod Bittersweet is abundant, no need to buy a batch at the florist shop.

Fall is a special, beautiful time of year on Cape Cod. There is opportunity to roam around on foot, by bike, or by car without crowds. The scenery is spectacular. I wanted to capture a little bit of what I adore most about Autumn. I hope you like my drawing.

About mehrlich125

Since I was little I liked to visualize and create things. Painting with watercolors is what makes me happy now. That, and spending time gardening and reading. I love long walks, biking, and the beach. Cape Cod is where I spend a lot of my leisure time.
