Contour drawing is fun. No outlining, just inside shapes. Then add values of light, medium and dark and watch the shapes appear. Suddenly there is depth. All you need is pen and ink and paper.

The three small pictures were not bright enough. On the fourth try, the big picture, I think I finally got the colors to represent the bright colors on the kayaks. Whew! Paines Creek, Cape Cod. Summer 2012.
